The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center has comprehensive Treatment Services for all types of cancer, each staffed by experts who work together in multidisciplinary teams to care for the unique needs of each cancer patient.

Disease Treatment Services:

Blood and Marrow Transplant: specializes in providing autologous and allogeneic transplants for cancer patients, particularly those with leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma

Bone and Soft Tissue Oncology: specializes in treatment and care for patients with malignant tumors of the bone and spine and with soft tissue sarcomas

Brain Tumor Center: specializes in treatment and care for patients with all types of neurologic malignancies

Breast Evaluation & Treatment: specializes in the examination of and treatment and care for patients with benign and malignant breast tumors

Gastrointestinal Oncology: specializes in treatment and care for patients with cancers in the digestive system

Genitourinary Oncology: specializes in treatment and care for patients with bladder, kidney, penile, prostate, and testicular cancer

Gynecologic Oncology: specializes in treatment and care for women with gynecologic malignancies

Head and Neck Oncology: specializes in treatment and care for patients with larynx, oral, jaw, and salivary gland cancers

Hematologic Malignancies: specializes in treatment and care for patients with malignancies of the blood

Skin Cancer (Cutaneous Oncology): specializes in treatment of malignancies that involve the skin.

Thoracic Oncology: specializes in treatment and care for patients with lung and esophageal cancer and cancers metastatic to the chest

Cancer Center Departments/Divisions:

Medical Oncology/Hematology: specializes in providing primary cancer treatment, continuous follow-up, consultations, and second opinions for cancer management

Radiation Oncology: specializes in using radiation (both externally and internally) to treat cancerous tumors

Surgical Oncology: specializes in removing tumors through surgery

Pediatric Oncology: specializes in approaches to cancer treatment for children
