High Throughput Screening (HTS) Shared Service

The goal of the High Throughput Screening (HTS) Share Service (SS) is to assist investigators in the development and adaptation of their specific assays into an automated format that can be adapted into a high throughput screening format. This is accomplished by providing UMGCC investigators with access to automated liquid handling equipment, sensitive high throughput detectors, and diverse collection of libraries of small drug like compounds for screening in cell-based or in vitro assays. In addition to screening compound libraries, the HTS-SS will assist investigators in developing other large scale screens such as screening siRNA libraries and expression libraries.
