The Biopolymer Shared Service provides basic molecular biology support services including DNA/RNA and peptide synthesis and DNA sequencing. As a University of Maryland School of Medicine facility, services are provided to the entire University of Maryland at Baltimore research community, including the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center's members in the Program in Oncology. Specific services include DNA, RNA, siRNA synthesis, DNA sequencing, genotyping, gene expression analysis by microarrays, peptide synthesis, and custom protein analysis, purification, and assay development.
