The American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant Provides "Seed Money" To Support New Investigators
This is the seventh year of an American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant (ACS IRG) that was awarded to the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCC) to support promising new research by junior faculty members.
There are two different types of award:
- Cancer-Related: Projects with relevance to any aspect of basic, translational and clinical cancer research - $90,000 total, $30,000 maximum per project
- Individual application

Disparities: Projects that specifically focus on cancer in the poor and underserved - $30,000 total maximum per project
