Dr. Luther Ampey Named Top Doc by Washingtonian Magazine

The Department of Radiation Oncology is proud to announce that Luther L. Ampey, III, M.D., has been named to Washingtonian magazine’s "Top Doctors" in the April, 2008 issue.

Dr. Ampey is a board-certified radiation oncologist, medical director of the Helen P. Denit Center for Radiation Therapy, Liaison Physician to the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer for Montgomery General Hospital, and assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Ampey was chosen by area physicians as on of the top 1,700 best doctors the Washington/Baltimore area.

Selection was determined by the greatest number of recommendations received per doctor within their specialties, with adjustments to account for geographic distribution.
