The Radiation Oncology Symposium Best of 2011 will provide the attendees with the new changes in technology and treatment modalities that have occurred in the past year. This includes the latest developments in treating the following cancers: genitourinary, head & neck, central nervous system, gastrointestinal, breast, thoracic and lymphoma.

Target Audience:

The Radiation Oncology Symposium Best of 2011 is designed for radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, medical oncologists, hematologists, nurse practitioners, dosimitrists, physician assistants and nurses.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe current treatment options for various malignancies.
  • Assess important studies and clinical trials in radiation oncology.
  • Review the role and indications for radiation therapy.
