The Mid-Atlantic ASTRO Review course will review current data and information presented at the 51st Annual American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) meeting in Chicago, IL, on November 1-5, 2009.

Target Audience:

The 5th Annual ASTRO Review Course is designed for radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical oncologists, hematologists, nurse practitioners, dosimitrists, physician assistants and nurses.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Describe current treatment options for various malignancies.
Assess important studies and clinical trials in radiation oncology.
Review the role and indications for radiation therapy.
