Minocycline-EDTA (min-oh-SY-kleen )
A substance being studied in the treatment of bacterial infections from catheters (flexible tubes used to deliver fluids into or take fluids from the body). It combines a drug used to treat infections with a drug that prevents blood clots. It is a type of tetracycline antibiotic. Also called M-EDTA.
