Immunoglobulin (IH-myoo-noh-GLAH-byoo-lin)
A protein that acts as an antibody. Immunoglobulins are made by B cells and plasma cells. An immunoglobulin is a type of glycoprotein with two heavy chains and two light chains. Also called Ig.
