Hyperbaric oxygen (HY-per-BAYR-ik OK-sih-jen)
Oxygen that is at an atmospheric pressure higher than the pressure at sea level. Breathing hyperbaric oxygen to enhance the effectiveness of radiation therapy is being studied.
