Anti-CD45 monoclonal antibody (AN-tee … MAH-noh-KLOH-nul AN-tih-BAH-dee)
A monoclonal antibody being studied in the treatment of some types of cancer. Monoclonal antibodies are made in the laboratory and can locate and bind to substances in the body, including cancer cells. Anti-CD45 monoclonal antibody binds to members of a family of proteins called CD45. Certain CD45 proteins are found on the surface of most types of blood cells, and some types of leukemia and lymphoma cells.
