Tobacco-Free in 2008!
Big Cig with Dr. Anil Dhople
The University of Maryland Medical Center is going tobacco-free on February 14, 2008. Smoking was already prohibited inside the hospital, but the new policy means no smoking or use of tobacco products anywhere on the grounds of the Medical Center.
To kick off the campaign, the Tobacco Free committee made its rounds throughout the hospital telling patients, visitors and staff about the initiative. Anil Dhople, M.D. is the physician member of the team who made the rounds with “The Big Cig” to get the message out.
