UMGCC Welcomes Dr. Karl Prado

Karl Prado, Ph.D.

The University of Maryland department of Radiation Oncology is excited to announce that Karl Prado, Ph.D., will be joining the division of Medical Physics as the Associate Chief of Clinical Physics on October 1, 2009. Dr. Prado will oversee and coordinate all of UMGCC's community practices.

Dr. Prado comes to UMGCC from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he has been an associate professor of Radiation Physics for ten years and currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Clinical Physics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
