2011 Patient Event: A Day of Honor
Music Through the Decades
On Sunday, June 5, 2011, the Hippodrome Theater was filled with nostalgic tunes from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's as the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center hosted our annual event for patients, "A Day of Honor -- Music through the Decades." This special day is our way to honor our patients who have entrusted us with their care -- those who are living cancer-free, those currently on their cancer journey, and those who have passed away.
Guests were treated to lunch, entertainment and remarks by triathlete and cancer center nurse extraordinaire Roseanne Dougherty, R.N.
