Breast Cancer Awareness Guide

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCC) is a leader in breast cancer detection, evaluation, treatment and research. From providing state-of-the-art breast imaging to cutting edge treatments and clinical trials, UMGCC's Breast Evaluation and Treatment Program is one of the most established multidisciplinary breast disease programs in the country.

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the UMGCC Center for Image Renewal will be hosting "Party in Pink Passion" on Tuesday, October 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to attending various breast cancer seminars and forums throughout the day, customers are also invited to shop until they drop in honor of a good cause. Those customers wearing pink will have fun popping balloons for special discounts on their purchases. All profits will benefit the Greenebaum Cancer Center.
