The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCC) is easy to reach from Interstates 95, 97, 70 and 83 and the Baltimore Beltway, (I-695).

From the north: Follow I-95 South to Exit 53 (Route 395 North, Downtown). Stay on the right and follow signs for Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Follow MLK Blvd. to the fourth traffic light and turn right onto Baltimore St. Follow Baltimore St. to the first traffic light and turn right onto Greene St. Stay on the left and go 1/2 block to the first traffic light and turn left onto W. Redwood St. Enter the underground University Plaza Garage on your left.
From the south: Follow I-95 North to the Russell St. exit. Follow Russell St. as it merges into Paca St.; turn left onto W. Redwood St. Enter the underground University Plaza Garage on your right.
Take I-70 East to I-695 South to I-95 North. Take the Russell St. exit. Follow Russell St. as it merges into Paca St. Go two blocks on Paca St.; turn left onto W. Redwood St. Enter the underground University Plaza Garage on your right.
Follow I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway) to the end. Go two traffic lights and turn right onto Lombard Street. Follow Lombard St. for 12 traffic lights and turn right onto Paca St. Turn left at the next light onto W. Redwood St. Enter the underground University Plaza Garage on your right.
Follow I-295 North to Baltimore. Inside the city limits, I-295 becomes Russell St. Follow Russell St. as it merges into Paca St. Go two blocks on Paca St.; turn left onto W. Redwood St. Enter the underground University Plaza Garage on your right.
Take US-50 West to US-301 to I-97 North. Take the I-695 exit towards Baltimore. Take the I-295 exit and follow the directions from Washington, D.C. or BWI Airport.

Safe, convenient patient parking is available at several locations near the University of Maryland Medical Center:
Arriving and departing patients may be dropped off and picked up in the circular drive in front of the hospital. Parking is available in front of the hospital for 20 minute drop-off and pick-up only. Free valet parking service is available at the front entrance for mothers in labor. If you need assistance getting from building to building, the Medical Center offers a shuttle service. For assistance, dial the information desk at 410-328-5473 (or 8-5473 from any in-house phone).

Please note: Please make sure you take your ticket with you from the surface lot into the hospital to get discounted. These rates are exclusive to patients and their transporters. Patients or their transporters may get their parking tickets discounted from a Guest Services representative located at the Gudelsky Lobby desk in the Medical Center. The standard Medical Center Garage charge of $25.00 will be applied to all other parkers who do not provide a discounted voucher upon exit.
This garage also has parking available on underground levels only to patients and visitors/families of patients who are here long-term. Parking is accessible from both Paca and Greene Streets. The following rates apply:

Please note: These rates are exclusive to patients and their transporters. These rates are only applicable when a patient-parking discount voucher is presented to the cashier upon exiting the Plaza Garage. Patients or their transporters may obtain discount vouchers from the Department of Guest Services which is located at the front desk in the main lobby of the Medical Center. The standard Plaza Garage charge of $25.00 will be applied to parkers entering prior to 2 p.m. who do not present a discount voucher at the time of exit.
After 2 p.m., individuals other than patients and their transporters may begin parking in the Plaza Garage and will be charged according to the rates listed for the Baltimore Grand Garage (see below).

The Baltimore Grand Garage is designated for general public parking and is approximately one block away from the Medical Center. Visitors who do not have a doctor’s appointment or who are not transporting patients are advised to park at the Baltimore Grand Garage.
To obtain a parking pass, the visitor, patient or family member can fill out an application and bring it to the UMMC Parking and Transportation Office located in room G1J42, two doors down from the HR Service Center and Great Cookie. Access to W. Redwood Street and the University Plaza Garage will remain reserved for patient and patient visitor parking during events at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Stadium traffic should be considered when traveling to the Medical Center after 5 p.m. or on weekends.
