Melanoma Treatment
Treatment Options for Recurrent Melanoma
Treatment of recurrent melanoma may include the following:
- Surgery to remove the tumor.
- Hyperthermic isolated limb perfusion.
- Radiation therapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
- Palliative treatment with biologic therapy.
- A clinical trial of biologic therapy and/or chemotherapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
