Komen Maryland "Race for the Cure" Tops Record

Participant at 2007 Komen Maryland Race for the Cure

More than 100 University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center employees and breast-cancer survivors - along with their family and friends -- participated in the 2007 Komen Maryland Race for the Cure held in Hunt Valley the morning of October 14, 2007.

The team joined the record-breaking total 32,928 runners and walkers who raised a total of $2.7 million for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, which has provided grants in the past for the cancer center programs.
