The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCC) is currently screening donors for the Department of Defense Donor Center, as part of the National Marrow Donor Program. If you have been identified as a potential donor, our Blood and Marrow Transplant Program staff will perform your physical examination and other screening tests to determine if you are a compatible match to donate blood or bone marrow stem cells.
We would like your stay in Baltimore to be as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The following information is presented to help you find your way around Baltimore and to enjoy some of the City's attractions. Getting to UMGCC from the Marriott Hotel

located at:

Leaving the Marriott, go left (west) on Lombard Street, crossing Paca Street, to Greene Street. The Medical Center’s Homer Gudelsky Building entrance is conveniently located on the corner of Greene and Lombard Streets. You may enter there and proceed through the Atrium lobby to the Stoler Pavilion, or walk south on Greene Street one-half block to the main Medical Center entrance. The Stoler Pavilion is just inside the main lobby on the right.
Information Desk personnel will direct you to the Stoler Pavilion, which is located off the main lobby, just inside the main hospital entrance.
Driving Directions
Baltimore is located 45 minutes north of Washington, D.C., and 90 minutes south of Philadelphia. Door-to-door driving directions are available through MapQuest. The street address for UMGCC is 22 S. Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
From the South:
Take I-95N to Baltimore. Take Exit 53, I-395N downtown. Follow 4 lights
to Lombard St., make a left. Go 1 block, make left onto Eutaw St. The hotel
is on your right.
From I-295 (BWI Airport):
Exit onto 695 to I-95N to Exit 53 (I-395). Do not take Exit 52, Russell Street). Take I-395N, Martin Luther King Blvd., downtown. Follow 4 lights to Lombard Street, make left. Go 1 block, make left onto Eutaw St. The hotel will be on your right.
From the North:
Follow I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway) to the end. Go two traffic lights and turn right onto Lombard Street. Follow Lombard for 12 traffic lights and turn left on Eutaw St. The hotel will be on your right.
Area Attractions
While staying at the Marriot Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, you’ll be a short walk from many of the major attractions the City has to offer. Baltimore is a waterfront city that offers two world-class art museums, local and national sporting events, theaters and restaurants serving cuisine from around the world.
The heart of Baltimore is the acclaimed Inner Harbor. Its promenade links the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center and Harborplace’s two pavilions comprising dozens of eateries and close to 100 retail establishments.
Five minutes east of the Inner Harbor are Fells Point and Little Italy. The pubs and taverns of Fells Point attract college-age and young professional crowds, and Little Italy, with its great restaurants, offers something for all budgets. Ten minutes north of University Center is the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall -- home of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Baseball fans will enjoy attending home games of the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, located across the street from the Marriott.
