Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching funds when their employees make a donation to The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center. Please check with your human resource department for the specifics of your company's program, and/or enter their name in the box below. Memorials and Honorariums

A Memorial or Honorary gift is a wonderful way to designate your gift in memory or in honor of a special person. Please select Memorial/Honor Online Donation Form. You may also print the Memorial Gift Form and mail it with your gift to:

Endowments, Chairs and Professorships

Endowments are permanent legacies that provide for donor recognition as well as vital support in perpetuity for faculty and programs. You may chose to endow a fellowship, professorship or chair. For a named fund or position, UMGCC has established minimum levels of giving:

Endowed Fund	$50,000
Endowed Lectureships	$50,000
Endowed Fellowship	$50,000
Endowed Research Investigation Fund	$500,000
Endowed Named Professorship	$1,500,000
Endowed Named Chair	$2,500,000

Charitable Planned Giving

Planned giving allows you to provide a larger legacy than might be possible through cash gifts made during your lifetime. A deferred gift will enable UMGCC to continue its patient care initiatives, research programs or facility upgrades, even though your gift will come at a much later date. Deferred gifts may be made in the form of bequests, life insurance, qualified retirement plans, real estate or family limited partnerships.

Gift Ideas for Holidays and Special Occasions

If you are planning a celebration for a wedding, anniversary or bar/bat mitzvah, consider making a donation to UMGCC in the name of the person you are honoring or as a party favor that will be meaningful and enduring. We can supply the cards and inserts for invitations. Contact Nichole Barbuzanes to request a supply of pre-addressed donation envelopes.
