The UMGCC Thoracic Oncology Program consists of an experienced group of specialists and nationally recognized leaders in the treatment of:

Large studies, some led by members of our program, have demonstrated that treating these diseases with a combination of therapies improves cure rates and reduces side effects.Our multidisciplinary team of specialists offers a complete range of treatment options, including medical, surgical and radiation therapies.

The team meets twice a week to evaluate patient profiles, review and discuss treatment plans and examine new innovative treatments that could be beneficial to patients. They work together throughout the treatment process to ensure that care is coordinated and duplication of services is eliminated. Patients receive the highly individualized program of care they need while undergoing complex, aggressive therapies.
